Bean to Cup Coffee Machines
The beans you place in your coffee machine are not just seeds. They’re a full spectrum of flavor. Bean-to cup machines allow you to control the quality of your coffee with just the press of a single button.
They employ a front-loading water tank and a pump to maintain the right pressure throughout the grinding and the brewing process. Some also offer perfectly texturized milk to make barista-style drinks.
Reservoir
Most coffee machines have reservoirs that hold the hot water needed to make. The reservoir is usually constructed of glass or plastic and is housed within the machine. Some models include a water filtering system to ensure the coffee is free of impurities.
When you switch on the machine, a pump in the machine pumps water from bean to cup the dispenser through the grinder and into a filter basket. After the grounds are ground, they are pushed through the filter with a sprayer head and into the cup beneath it. As the hot water drips into the carafe it goes through the filter leaving behind a thin layer (ground coffee with a silky sheen).
Some coffee makers that are bean-to-cup can create milky drinks such as lattes or cappuccinos. If you are a fan of these drinks, try models with an integrated steam wand. This means that you can create an alcoholic drink with the push of a button!

Hot-Water Tube
The machine may appear to be doing an easy task however, it’s actually working extremely hard. It takes the water you pour into the machine, and then it passes it through the tube connected to the hole in the bottom of reservoir on one side, and the heating element made of aluminum on the other.
The water inside the aluminum tube begins to boil when you switch on the machine. The bubbles formed by the boiling water rise through the hole at the bottom of the reservoir and over the hose that exits. Hot water rides on these bubbles and travels through the tube before settling into the coffee maker.
If your coffee maker makes strange sounds, it could mean that the one-way valve is malfunctioning. It is in the hole at the reservoir’s bottom, or in the aluminum heating tub. Without this valve the boiling water would return to the reservoir instead of rising up the tube.
As the hot water drips down the sides, it is carrying the flavor of the ground coffee beans. The water soaks up by the coffee beans in the ground, releasing the oils that give the cup of joe the delicious taste.
Grinder
