The Eufy Robot Vacuum Review

Eufy robot vacuums are renowned for their user-friendly. Eufy’s RoboVac 30C model is Wi-Fi-enabled and includes a remote control for convenient application operation. It also has boundary strips and a battery life of 100 minutes.

Its Boost IQ Technology can easily move from wood, tile and area rugs to low-pile or area rug. Other standard features include obstacle and drop detection, allowing it to avoid hitting furniture and walls.

Boost IQ Technology

The eufy robot vacuum line offers a wide variety of models, however there are some features that are common across their line. Boost IQ is one such feature, which helps your robot move smoothly from hard floors to medium to low pile carpeting and area rug. It will automatically boost suction power when it comes into contact with a particular type of surface to ensure it is as clean as it can.

An important feature is the manual switch between cleaning modes. The Quick Clean mode is perfect for a quick 30 minute sweep of the floor. Auto will work in a large space without changing modes. Edge will focus on corners and walls.

The Eufy robot is equipped with all the basic features like drop and obstacle detection as well as an auto-emptying base. Drop detection and obstacle detection is standard on all robots since it stops them from bumping into walls or furniture, while the latter prevents them from falling down stairs or other places that could be hazardous.

Many of the eufy robots have a variety LED indicators that communicate with you, much like the digital watches. A solid green signalizes that the Shark Robot Vacuum is in standby or charging mode while blue indicates that it’s on and working, and a solid orange indicates that your eufy is running low on power and needs to return to its original location.

The RoboVac 11S from Eufy is a top-rated robotic vacuum, is perfect for those who are looking for a robust robot with a long run time. It can also reach the furthest corners of your home. Its slim design can be tucked under furniture or in tight spaces. It also has a scratch-resistant tempered glass cover. There’s also physical controls and smart sensors to assist in navigation, and a variety of cleaning modes. It’s missing some of the more advanced features of other models, including digital maps or Shark Robot Vacuum app-based controls.

Powerful Suction

A powerful suction rate of 2,000 pounds makes this robot vacuum great for removing food particles cereal crumbs, food particles and other bits of dust or debris on hard floors and carpeting with a low to medium pile. It also removes pet hair and other allergens from upholstered furniture. The side brush that rotates is great for reaching into corners and along baseboards. The rolling brush picks dust, dirt and other debris that sticks to surfaces.

The 25C is Wi-Fi-connected and can be controlled using apps on smartphones or via voice when connected to a smart home speaker such as an Amazon Echo or Google Assistant. It also comes with a small charging base that holds the vacuum when it is not in use.

All eufy robot vacuums come with several standard features, such as obstacle and drop detection to stop it from hitting things or falling down the stairs. Certain models, such as the eufy RoboVac11S and its re-engineered eufyRoboVac 30C MAX even offer advanced navigation systems that build and store a virtual floor map so it is aware of where to go (and where to avoid) every time it cleans.

You can tailor the cleaning cycle, set specific areas for the eufy robot vacuum to stay clear of using the app or Alexa-compatible voice commands. And you can also block off rooms with delicate items, like the toys of your children or console tables. This model comes with a pair of border strips that can be bundled to let you cordon off larger areas.

The eufy RoboVac11S Max is one of our best robot vacuum for pets-performing robotic vacuums, earning the top marks for cleaning and navigation. Its design is simple, with just a single button on the top of the unit to get it going and an on/off switch beneath to turn off the vacuum permanently, as well as a glass-tempered surface with ten infrared sensors to steer clear of obstacles and an 0.15-gallons / 0.6-liter dust bin. Its redesigned navigation system is equipped with iPath technology, which creates and stores a floor map for your floor. The system then uses this information to swiftly navigate to every part of your home and ensure it covers every square inch of your floor.

Convenient App Control

As is the case with many robot vacuums on the market Eufy’s models have advanced features that let you control your device remotely. This includes the ability to set cleaning times, set virtual boundaries that stop your robot from entering certain areas (such as rooms full of electrical cords) and set the’return to base’ feature. Some allow you to create a map of the house and mark the areas you want to clean.

The most advanced eufy robotic cleaners come with a unique navigation system, referred to as’smart mapping’, which analyzes the floors of your home and builds a map that it references every time it cleans. This enables the vacuum cleaner to effortlessly move between bare floors and area rugs, and back to the beginning, without missing a step.

The RoboVac 25C from Eufy is a great example of this model. It has three distinct suction power modes can be selected through its companion app: ‘Standard’ and ‘Turbo’. This boosts the machine’s performance for cleaning floors that are not clean, and ‘Max’, that is designed for high pile carpeting.

The battery life is impressive it allows the vacuum to run for up to 100 minutes in its standard ‘Standard’ mode. The vacuum also has an internal indicator for the battery that blinks blue when the vacuum is charging, then turns orange when it’s low on power, and solidifies to blue once it’s fully charged.

Another great feature is the «Spot Cleaning’ mode that allows you to force the vacuum to concentrate on a tiny, localized area by pressing a button on its base. This is a great way to get pet hair or dust from tight corners or under furniture, where a traditional upright vacuum would have trouble.

The eufy RoboVac also does a fantastic job with pet hair on various floor types, though it may require some additional passes to clear stubborn patches of hair in carpets with high and low pile. Like most robotic cleaners, it’s not as effective in getting hair out of crevices and cracks as it is on floors that are unfinished but it does a fantastic job of removing pet hair from bare and carpeted surfaces.

100 Minutes of Cleaning

The Eufy robot vacuum offers an impressive 100 minutes of clean-up, with a shark self emptying robot vacuum-return to its base to charge. It can work on multiple floors, and comes with an efficient vacuum that can remove anything from cereal chunks to glitter tiny specks. It has a durable brush roll and a side brush that can help it get into crevices and corners that other robots may not be able to reach.

The battery-powered robo-vacuum is operated via the remote control provided or by sending commands over Wi-Fi with your smart-home assistant, smartphone, or even a smart device. You can also alter the Boost IQ feature, which optimizes suction power based on the kind of floor the vac is working on.

The G30 Edge, like other eufy robotics are designed to move around your home in a minimally-setup way. It takes only a few minutes to snap on the rotating edge brushes and connect to your home Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can use the app to create cleaning schedules and voice commands using a compatible smart home speaker.

This level of customization is available on many robot vacuums that are eufy. You can select which areas you’d like to clean and when. The application allows you to create virtual boundaries, which are used to prevent the robot from entering rooms where there may be electrical cords or other obstacles you’d rather not vacuum up.

Certain models of eufy include an intuitive map that uses sensors that determine the location of walls and furniture and plots a route to cover them. Other models use the navigational technology known as iPath, which is more advanced. In these instances the robot vacuum employs an algorithm that creates an iPath path, and then follow it until it reaches the area that is designated. The robot returns to its dock and starts charging in anticipation of its next scheduled cleaning.

Other models of eufy’s robot vacuums do not possess this level of intelligence. The entry-level models, which are usually the most affordable in the line-up do not have an electronic mapping system, instead, they chart the same zig-zag pattern every time they begin cleaning. Although this can be frustrating, the eufy robotic cleaner is always able to cover the same areas. It also doesn’t miss corners or other areas that are difficult to reach.
